Virginia M. Pittarelli

Virginia Pittarelli is a principal of Crown Retail Services, an affiliate of Crown Acquisitions. Crown Retail Services is a New York City based national retail real estate consulting and brokerage firm. Prior to joining Crown Retail Services, she was previously a principal and chief operating officer of Madison Retail Group also based in New York City.

Ms. Pittarelli has over twenty-five years’ experience in the real estate industry specializing in national tenant and landlord representation as well as advisory services. She specializes in the development of strategic store expansion programs on a local, regional and national basis. She has represented a number of national and international retailers including Sephora, Jil Sander, Kenneth Cole, Club Monaco, Diesel , Borders Books, The Body Shop and the retail brands of Liz Claiborne, which include Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Jack Spade and Lucky Brand Jeans.

Ms. Pittarelli is currently representing the British owned retailer, Jack Wills, with their expansion program into the U.S. and is part of the team representing Nordstrom Rack with its New York City expansion. She is leading the real estate effort to re-launch the luxury men’s accessories brand Ghurka with its expansion to high street locations throughout the U.S. In addition, she was responsible for the first three prominent Juicy Couture locations in Manhattan, as well as Kate Spade’s New York stores including its townhouse flagship on Madison Avenue.  Ms. Pittarelli was also one of the senior team members designated by Nordstrom in their search for a Flagship location in Manhattan. In addition, Ms. Pittarelli consulted the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation to develop a strategy for the future of downtown retail. Also on the international front, she has led the strategic alliance with ING’s European Retail Platform, in bringing US retailers to ING retail properties in Europe.

Ms. Pittarelli also has extensive agency experience. She has represented such prominent New York landlords as Silverstein Properties, Brookfield Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, Kensico Properties as well as specialty retail spaces under private ownership.

She served as Senior Vice President of Trammell Crow Company and Director of its Retail group in New York City. In addition to providing strategic retail real estate consulting services in New York, Ms. Pittarelli spearheaded multi-market strategic planning for several high-profile national and international companies.

Ms. Pittarelli began her career at Citibank, N.A. where she last served as Vice President/Real Estate Director. She is a graduate of Brooklyn College and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York and Connecticut. She is a member of the Stores Committee Real Estate Board of New York, The Association of Real Estate Women (AREW), and The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Stephen J. Stephanou

Stephen J. Stephanou is a principal of Crown Retail Services, an affiliate of Crown Acquisitions. Crown Retail Services is a New York City based national retail real estate consulting and brokerage firm. Over the course of his professional career, he has had extensive experience in tenant and landlord representation, contract negotiations, and shopping center and mixed use development in key retail markets within the US.

Stephen has represented international retailers in developing strategies and finding locations, including Jean Paul Gaultier, Faconnable, Jil Sander, Sabo, and Breuer. He has worked on the high-street expansion program  for Kate Spade and Jack Spade, including stores in Boston, New York, and Georgetown. Currently, Stephen is one of the co-heads of the team which has developed and executed the real estate roll-out for British retailer Jack Wills, which has entered the US with fourteen stores in the past two years. In addition, he spearheaded the strategic alliance with ING’s European Retail Platform, with the goal of bringing US retailers to ING shopping center properties in Western Europe.

Currently, Stephen has been developing and executing a multi-borough New York City strategy for Nordstrom Rack, which opened its first store in Union Square. Other active clients include Eileen Fisher, The Body Shop, and Brazilian based Chilli Beans, for both high-street and shopping center locations, both locally and nationally.

Recent assignments have included tenants such as, Peek, Glassybaby, Scotch & Soda, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. In the past, he has also represented Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, Cole Haan, Coach, Tiffany & Co., Brooks Brothers, and Hastens, to name a few.

On the agency side, Stephen has represented and leased retail properties on behalf of Lend Lease Real Estate Investments and Madison Marquette in Texas and California; Equitable Life Insurance in San Diego; Morgan Stanley, Brookfield Properties, Jones Lang LaSalle, Marriott Hotels, and Walton Street Capital in New York; DRA Advisors in Pennsylvania, as well as private owners, including Crown Acquisitions.

Prior to entering consulting and brokerage, Stephen was Senior Vice President of Retail Development for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc. (previously The Yarmouth Group). He began his career as an attorney in Los Angeles, later joining Federated Department Stores as in-house counsel. He was subsequently Group Vice President of Real Estate, for Macy’s.

He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York, an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Retail Stores Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York.

Stephen graduated with honors from UCLA and received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University of Los Angeles, where he was a member of the Law Review.

Isaac D. Mograby

Mr. Mograby is a retail tenant leasing representative at Crown Retail Services in New York.  Isaac has worked in real estate since 2009 with roles including acquisition analyst, capital market investment sales, retail tenant/landlord representative, and strategic expansion consultant.  Working alongside tenants and landlords, Mr. Mograby has been able to keep his client's requirements and desires his focus resulting in the completion of multiple deals throughout his career.

Mr. Mograby works with national tenants such as Bank of America, J.P. Morgan Chase, TD Bank, Walgreens, CVS/Pharmacy, Starbucks, Seattle's Best Coffee, The Vitamin Shoppe, Party City, NYSC, Planet Fitness, Famous Footwear, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, among others.

Currently, Mr. Mograby focuses on market expansion for his tenants throught the Tri-State Area, Toronto, and Montreal assisting his client's with site identifications, expansion strategy and lease negotiations.  Prior to joining Crown Retail Services, Isaac was Director of New Business Development at Ovation Corporate Travel acquiring new accounts which included:  Blackrock, Cantor FItzgeral, Apollo Management, E! Entertainment, and more.  Isaac is a licenced Real Estate Salesperson in the state of New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Board of New York.

Joseph McInerney

Mr. McInerney is a retail tenant leasing representative at Crown Retail Services in New York. He has worked in real estate since 2008 with roles including retail tenant/landlord representative, strategic expansion consultant, and canvasser. 

Mr. McInerney works with national tenants such as Vitamin Shoppe, Sephora, Jack Wills, The Body Shop, Kate Spade, Ghurka, Chilli Beans, Nordstrom Rack, Eileen Fisher, Scotch & Soda, Hickorees, and Ella Health, among others.

Currently, Mr. McInerney focuses on market expansion for his tenants in Manhattan, Fairfield County (CT), and Westchester County (NY).  Prior to joining Crown Retail Services, Joseph worked with Madison Retail Group.  Joseph is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. McInerney holds a BA in Economics from Fairfield University.

Hank O'Donnell

Mr. O’Donnell is a retail tenant/landlord leasing representative at Crown Retail Services in New York. He has worked in the New York City commercial real estate industry since 2011.

Mr. O’Donnell works with national tenants such as Apple, Tesla, VF Corp (including Vans, North Face, Timberland), J.Crew, Madewell, Isaia, Rituals Cosmetics, and Flywheel.

Currently, Mr. O’Donnell focuses on market expansion for his tenants in prime retail markets across NYC. As a long-time Brooklyn resident, he specializes in tenant representation in the rapidly changing Brooklyn retail markets of Williamsburg, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and Downtown Brooklyn. Prior to joining Crown Retail Services, Hank was a Leasing Associate at Thor High Street Advisors. Hank is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of New York and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Mr. O’Donnell holds degrees from Tulane University in Sociology and Urban Planning with a minor in Urban Studies.

Thibaud Veil

Thibaud Veil is a principal of Crown Retail Services, a New York City based national retail real estate consulting and brokerage firm and affiliate with Crown Acquisitions. He has had extensive experience in representing both tenants and landlords in leases in “high-street’ locations.  He has also been involved in the development of strategies for both developers and tenants for in mixed use projects, shopping centers and life-style centers in key retail markets in the US.  He is also a member of the team working with Nordstrom Rack in New York City, along with such retailers as Eileen Fisher and Satya Jewelry.  

 Thibaud has developed strategies and sourced office, showroom and retail locations for such recognized international brands as Petrossian, Jean Clauude Biguine, Saint James, Les Ateliers Jean Rousseau, Carré d’Artsites and Zilli.

Prior to joining Crown Retail Services, Thibaud was the CEO and Co-founder of City Square a New York City based commercial real estate and consulting firm.  Clients included retailers, as well as, corporate and private firms, for investment sales.

He began his career as a real estate salesperson and later executive vice president at Orpi, one of France’s leading real estate brokerage firms.

He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in New York, an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the French American Chamber of Commerce.

Thibaud earned a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate Business at the Real Estate Institute of Bordeaux (France).

 

Christopher DeCrosta

With over 15 years experience in retail real estate, Mr. DeCrosta joined Crown Retail Service in 2012.

As a member of the Crown team, Mr. DeCrosta has completed transactions for Apple, Tesla, Bottega Veneta,  Saint Laurent, Isaia, Supreme, J. Crew, Madewell and Rituals Cosmetics. These locations have included both neighborhood stores and high-profile flagships in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Paris.

Over the course of his career, Mr. DeCrosta has been intimately involved in many of New York City’s emerging markets, such as Bleecker Street, Nolita, the Financial District and Brooklyn. He played an active role in the revitalization of Lower Manhattan through his consulting work with the Downtown Alliance and his assistance with the relocation of Borders and Sephora to their new sites from the World Trade Center.  He also represented Tiffany & Company in leasing the space at 37 Wall Street. An early proponent of Brooklyn, he proudly represented Apple, Tesla, J. Crew and others in their first locations in the borough.

Mr. DeCrosta is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in New York, an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and has been published in many industry trade journals, including Real Estate Weekly, Shopping Center Business, and Northeast Real Estate Journal. Mr. DeCrosta received a B.A. in English from Kenyon College.
